If a user no longer requires access to a database source or sources, you can remove the user from the corresponding role that grants permission to those sources. You may have to remove users from a role when employees leave your organization or when employees are given new responsibilities.
Velocity requires at least one Velocity administrator so you cannot remove all of your organization's users from this role.
To remove users from a role
From the Velocity Console, in the left pane, click Roles.
Click Edit next to the role from which you want to remove users.
In the Select Users view, in the Selected Users column, click X next to each user that you want to remove from this role.
When you have finished making changes, click Save.
