You can delete any roles that you no longer need. When you delete a role, any users in that role lose the associated privileges that come with it. For example, if you delete a role that allows a user to access a specific database source, the user can no longer access that database source.
To delete roles
From the Velocity Console, in the left pane, click Roles.
In the Summary view, click Delete next to the role that you want to delete.
Click Delete to confirm that you want to delete the role.
